The idea behind HLth.care is to provide an online tool for nurses to manage their shifts at hospitals. Since our clients have long experience in this industry, they understand its problems deeply. In the short term, many hospitals use manual processes to manage shift work which is time-consuming and has many drawbacks. When a nurse is absent, finding a replacement is a difficult task. So this idea came about in which Hospital users can manage their own shifts, can communicate internally with other team members and also exchange shifts between team members.

Due to time constraints, clients decided to increase user traffic. So they update the name of the application from HLth.care to HLth.care Team which means all HLth.care teams can use this application. An additional benefit is the ability to manage shifts online without paper. Also we can analyze and provide hlth.care users with less effort and spending.
We got selected to develop this application with our team of five people on both Mobile and Web. Admin & frontend are both using ROR on the Web Admin side, as well as iOS & Android on the Mobile side.
With a small team that is highly experienced, we always ensure the quality of the code. So we can track progress and do the necessary when need be, we always use product management tools. Our team always conducts extensive research into any third-party plugin prior to adding it to our site.
We have basic modules flow on the client side like Shift management with Exchange internal in teams, Organization and teams with Chat capabilities, Account management. First, we designed this application and got it approved. We developed the first version over the course of a year and published it with mobile and frontend.
As this application works on multiple Os like Android, iOS and Web, it’s time consuming to keep the application up to date with all the versions.
There is a main third-party plug-in on this application for chat. Adding the plugin once was required and the process took some time from the server side and the mobile side.

For sharing new modules and ideas, we used JIRA as the project management tool for 2.5 years, followed by Github. Our Tool keeps track of all ideas and feedback from developers and clients, along with future development tasks and current development progress.
